Day In the Life of a Senior Project Manager

Do you have a passion for leading projects and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Are you driven by building strong teams and ensuring project success from inception to completion? If so, you'll be a great fit with us!

We would count on you to support our team with:

Project Leadership.

Establish and implement the Project Execution Plan, driving project goals while ensuring smooth delivery through strategic decision-making.

Customer Focus.

Understand client needs thoroughly and align project decisions with customer expectations to enhance the overall construction experience.

Team Management.

Provide oversight to project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to company standards in project management and accounting.

Project Monitoring.

Maintain an ongoing understanding of project status regarding profit, quality, and schedule, ensuring all aspects are aligned for success.

Team Building.

Cultivate a positive and engaged project culture, ensuring all team members are aligned and motivated.

In addition to your project management responsibilities, you will also support:

Relationship Building.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing and former customers, generating new project opportunities by identifying business needs and aligning them with our solutions.

Sales and Pursuits.

Leverage your professional network to identify and develop new sales leads, and lead project pursuits in collaboration with leadership and marketing teams.

And, of course, you'll have a vital role in:

Team Development.

Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to your team members, supporting their growth and advancement within the company.

Coaching.

Share your expertise on processes, procedures, and behaviors to elevate team performance and effectiveness.

What Experience You Bring

Industry Expertise.

7+ years managing projects, including 2-3 years of leadership and team oversight.

Education.

Bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent experience.

Organization.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Lead by example and excellent verbal and written communication.

Trust your instincts.

You can anticipate needs, take initiative, and proactively address issues.

A true go-getter.

You have tenacity to self-start and accomplish tasks, follow-through, and meet deadlines.

Technologically savvy.

Construction Management has become very tech-forward. Being able to pick up computer programs and new technologies quickly will aide in your success.
