We have been driving the industry forward since 2015, and with more than 8 million miles completed to date, we are leading a new era of safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable transportation.The Field Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of employee performance, policy enforcement, all other required training, and compliance. Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for staff, drivers, and our customers. Works in conjunction with the Safety Manager to spearhead a strong safety-first culture for all employees. Works with management to deliver on Key Performance Indicators.Essential Functions:

Oversee training activities, including new driver training, safety training, in-service training, driver road evaluations, Special Education Training, First Aid training, and all other required training.Understand the concept of behavioral safety and effectively communicate and train within the ZUM Service Center.Assist drivers with scheduling and work assignments, tablet issues, and basic payroll/admin needs.Update necessary reports, tracking forms, and spreadsheets for leadership to review.Provide ongoing training and performance evaluations for all Driver employees.Assume primary responsibility in responding to personal injury and vehicle accidents by on-scene investigation and preparing and submitting reports to the corporate office in accordance with Company policy.Investigate customer service complaints relative to safety issues and take appropriate corrective action.Primary point of contact in responding to personnel injury and vehicle accidents, preparation, and submission of reports per ZUM policy.Engage with drivers during morning, midday, and afternoons to assist with routing issues, safety, and any other daily needs.Provide daily work direction, feedback, conduct performance coaching, and issue corrective action to drivers.Perform ride-alongs with drivers to assist with on-route issues, pickup/dropoff concerns, and overall driver experience.Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.Commercial driving experience required.Thorough knowledge of Company regulations and state laws relating to student transportation.Appropriate vehicle class license, current medical and school bus driver’s certificate [Transit qualification].Ability to interface and communicate with all types of individuals.Must be knowledgeable of adult training techniques.Computer literacy, preferably in word processing and spreadsheets, and basic math skills.Excellent interpersonal skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills.The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
