Venture Solar is hiring a Rhode Island Canvassing Manager.Venture Solar is hiring a Canvassing Manager. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and management skills to make an immediate impact on growing our team. We have a training program that brings salespeople into the company with little-to-no solar experience and quickly prepares them to sell residential, solar projects in-the-home. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire Canvassing program in Rhode Island. This is a management-level role that will report directly to the SVP of Sales.Responsibilities:Interview and hire Field Marketing Salespeople (i.e. door-to-door Solar Salespeople)Train new Salespeople both in-office and in the fieldEstablish team to service New York areaCoordinate daily logistics, including permitting and field locationsTrack the team’s key performance indicatorsSome administrative duties required (experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is highly preferred)Requirements:Driver’s license requiredBachelor’s degree preferred1-2 years of canvassing or other cold-calling experience strongly preferredMust be comfortable with travel within the service areaStrong interpersonal skillsStrong training skillsStrong management skillsAn ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyExceptional time management skillsCompensation:$50,000 base + uncapped commissionFull benefits package after 30 daysCompany 401K with match after 1 yearPaid Time Off
