Job Duties:Associate, Credit Risk with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in Wilmington, Delaware. Credit Risk position focused on actively managing credit risk for unsecured lending products.Design and write data queries to extract and organize data from multiple sources and systems.Analyze Credit Bureau and third-party data to identify emerging risk trends leveraging advanced analytics.Perform statistical analysis, designing tests, and implementing controls to optimize the credit strategy.Stay up to date on regulations and compliance requirements for Consumer lending in the US Market.Work closely with a cross-functional team from marketing, product, fraud, and servicing on initiatives.Perform portfolio performance analysis, deep-dive analysis of trends based on portfolio data, industry data, credit bureau data, and alternative data.Understand drivers of P&L performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.Engage with business units and collaborate with the Organizational Risk team for providing risk control in the portfolio.Provide support for portfolio credit risk oversight and governance by benchmarking the portfolio performance against risk appetite guardrails.Summarize key portfolio analysis outcomes by creating management reporting using Tableau or other visual interface-based tools to monitor portfolio performance in each segment (e.g., product, vintage, risk segment, score band, or marketing channel).Prepare material on Credit policy for auditors to review.Answer questions from Regulators and present the Bank's point of view and remediate findings, if any, from the auditor within prescribed timelines.Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, including Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years with the following:Programming languages and tools including Python, SAS, and SQL to pull data from multiple databases to perform analytics and reporting.U.S. credit bureau data and banking regulations (including ability to pay quantification).Modeling techniques (including regression and machine learning) and model interpretability methodologies.Risk Management tools at various life stages of unsecured lending products.Client management and maintaining a relationship with partners.Working with drivers of revenue, loss, and profitability for an unsecured credit portfolio.The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., 2024.
