Project Manager
to join our dynamic team in our New Haven, CT or Manchester, CT office. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing complex transportation projects from inception to completion, demonstrating strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of transportation planning, design, and construction.This position will report to our New Haven, CT or Manchester, CT office, but your location is up to you! available for this position.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership:
Lead and oversee transportation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Team Management:
Manage a team of engineers, planners, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Client Engagement:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules effectively to maximize project profitability.Quality Assurance:
Ensure projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate project risks, making proactive decisions to ensure project success.Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and expertise in transportation planning, design, and construction.Stakeholder Communication:
Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.Connecticut Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred or the ability to obtain reciprocity within 6 months.Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation project management.Strong knowledge of transportation planning, design, and construction principles.Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microstation, and OpenRoads is preferred.Proficiency with preparing proposals and project budgets is required.Experience with CTDOT project design requirements and plan preparation guidelines required; experience in other New England states is a plus.Why You'll Love Working with Us:Schedule Flexibility:
