Bridge Design Group Leader

to join our growing Oklahoma City office.

B&N Bridge Design Group Leader Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the Oklahoma Bridge Design section including utilization, profitability, growth and marketing, talent management, coaching and mentoring.

Plan, manage, execute and deliver complex transportation related structural engineering design projects on-time, on budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.

Create and monitor scopes of work and budgets for various bridge and highway structure projects for ODOT and/or local agencies.

Monitor all financial aspects of the project including invoicing, budget status, accounts receivable, and monthly reports.

Develop and implement business development growth plan for the bridge design section including client relations and proposal development.

Skills & Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited civil or structural or equivalent engineering program.

Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) Registration and ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within six months.

10+ years of related transportation design with project and staff management experience.

Microsoft Office and CAD software proficiency required; MicroStation and Open Roads design software is highly preferred.

Working knowledge of ProjectWise and AASHTOWare Project are a plus; Bridge Inspection & Design software experience is highly preferred.

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining client relationships.

Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools.
