Position – Supply Chain Analyst
Location - Charlotte, NC 28269
Rate - $40 - $43.86/hour
Position type – 6Months+ Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Integrate global category strategies with program deliverables.
Prepare and process RFQs, requisitions, and purchase orders.
Locate and evaluate suppliers, perform quantitative selection for new products.
Negotiate contracts and formulate policies with suppliers.
Manage supplier activities to meet program milestones and production launches.
Develop inventory stocking and logistics strategies for suppliers.
Execute cost reduction strategies and develop alternate regional sources.
Hold suppliers accountable for deadlines and deliverables.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:
Experience with RFI/RFP/RFQ processes for commodities and engineered components.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
Experience with new product development and gated management approval processes.
Knowledge of project management fundamentals and MRP systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with persuasive abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and perform quantitative spreadsheet analysis.
Technical knowledge or ability to learn quickly in the commercial HVAC industry.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
