We are currently seeking a

Human Resources Business Partner

to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, Nevada. Our Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted business partner and thought leader supporting multiple teams in our Drilling Services Division. This individual will effectively represent the Boart Longyear values, our business objectives, and employee/management relationships. In this role you will serve as a key HR contact and partner to drive communication and strategy. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong foundation of Labor Relations and a demonstrated ability of process improvement in a fast-paced operation. This is a full-time permanent position.

ResponsibilitiesConducts weekly meetings with business partners and key stakeholders.Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.Support the development of Labor Relations strategies that align with business objectives.Lead investigations as needed.Manage layoff and recall processes.Oversee job separations, terminations, and settlements.Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.Provides guidance and input on workforce planning and succession planning.Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

Minimum QualificationsMust be authorized to work in the US.Must have valid Driver's License.Bachelor's degree.SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.3+ years HR experience with demonstrated track record of success.Proven experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently, performing well under pressure, and meeting deadlines, while ensuring acute attention to detail and accuracy.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.Ability to travel to the field regularly.
