*THIS IS A TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION, ANTICIPATED TO LAST APPROXIMATELY 3-6 MONTHS*The Business Analyst I supports the collection and analysis of data for the business, providing better solutions, technology integration, systems improvements, or business process modifications, by understanding the business and participating in strategies for improvement through use of our tools and systems. You will collaborate with Marco internal customers in the definition of business requirements, assess available technologies, and determine project scope. You will also assist in project management, communicating to all parties involved on a regular basis to ensure awareness and successful project completion, and assist in gathering Return on Investment (ROI) and Knowledge Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics to establish the success level of projects.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Effectively document current state, through observation and interviews with key stakeholders and primary end-users.Gather requirements from end-users and other key stakeholders to establish the gaps between current state and future state.Assist in the creation of business requirements and user stories, based on project methodology.Collaborate with the Business Analyst Team (BA), Business Intelligence Team (BI), Business Systems Analyst Team (BSA) and Developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Participate in industry and application peer groups/advisory councils.Continue to further education in Business Analysis certifications.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Current industry recognized certifications on applications including Azure DevOps, e-Automate Suite, ConnectWise Suite, Microsoft Visio, O365, Salesforce.com, Compass Sherpa, Microsoft Office Teams, or similar preferred. IIBA CCBA Certification preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS:Understanding of process flow.Strong verbal and written communication skills working with technical and non-technical people, and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships among all levels of the organization.Strong organizational and time/task management skills – project management skills preferred.Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Naturally curious – seek to understand the unknown, ask probing questions, and record detailed notes.Proactive – seek to solve problems and remove obstacles, using resources who can assist when needed.Technical aptitude with understanding of the co-relationship between technical tools and business process.Possess a basic knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
