Power Delivery Project Management Intern

The Project Management Intern will typically support one or more project managers leading the management of teams designing electric transmission, distribution, and substation facilities.THE MISSIONPower Delivery Solutions is an established group of electric utility engineering consultants that solve challenging transmission, substation, and distribution engineering problems for our utility clients nationwide. Our project portfolio includes large energy projects for electric utilities, power generation owners, and industrial clients.In this role, you can also expect to gain:Interface with local clientsElectrical Power Delivery ExposureInteractions with power delivery engineering disciplines (Substation, Protection & Controls, and Civil Structural)Strategic DevelopmentExpanding a Portfolio of BusinessPartnering with a Variety of Utility Clients NationwideTHE CHALLENGE (Role and Responsibilities)Complete tasks and assignments based on direction provided by senior project managementParticipate in team discussions planning work assignments, reviewing financial performance, and optimizing project deliveryPerform schedule and financial reviews and analysisLearn to apply proactive project management decision making.Ensure on-time delivery of project deliverablesWHAT SETS YOU APART (Required Skills)Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering or Business program at an accredited university or college with a current GPA of 2.6 or higherPrior use and knowledge of Microsoft ExcelGeneral knowledge of Scheduling software and principlesProfessional Attributes:Ability to meet deadlines under pressure situationsTeam player who can work effectively in a team environmentSelf-starter who can work independently with minimal directionStrong written and verbal communication skills required when interfacing with clients and staffDetail oriented with attention to qualityStrong analytical skills and proven problem solver in both team and independent environmentsHigh level of computer competencyPay Range:
