An Associate Technical Consultant will work directly with customers to configure, implement, and optimize standard ArcGIS software through smaller and repeatable Professional Services engagement activities. You will work directly with Esri customers, distributors, and partners to establish solutions to make customers successful, broaden the effect of Esri technology to their business, and help shape the evolution of Esri products by identifying new implementation patterns. In addition, you will participate in and serve the Esri community with a moderate scope of platform configurations and projects.Responsibilities

Support a moderate scope of Professional Services engagements, projects, and programs to implement ArcGISProvide strategic direction for internal Professional Services teams during all phases of ArcGIS implementation including requirements, analysis, design, build/configuration, and deploymentManage the scope, schedule, and budgets of projects to provide customers with meaningful solutions that respond to their user needsExercising good judgement, advise customers on innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisionsRecommended relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare Esri software implementation and migration strategiesDiscover the value of location within customer workflows and driven substantial return on their investment in Esri's products and services by assisting in outstanding proposals and winning work with strategic customersProvide business development support toward technology and Esri software implementation patterns with new and existing customersCollaborate and build productive working relationships with Esri's practice managers and marketing and sales team to develop new businessRequirements

2+ years of professional experience in GIS project management and/or GIS consultancyAbility to design, implement, and/or administer enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage Esri software productsEvaluate and translate customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into technical plans and solutions using Esri productsStrong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budgetDemonstrated professional experience in communicating technical ideas effectively and clearly to technical peers, project managers, and customersProven ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedulesSolid understanding of Esri products and how they relate to customers' needsKnowledge of current technology implementation patterns that leverage Esri software products including cloud and service-orientedAssist in preparing proposals, including preparing executive summaries, solution definition, scope of services, staffing, and pricingBachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM fieldRecommended Qualifications

Knowledge of and experience with software engineering and/or robust application development principles and practicesMaster's in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or related STEM field
