Must have at least 7 years' SUE experience managing basic contracts, fee estimation, project set-up and execution of work. Must have an understanding of the Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data as outlined in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) 38-02.Good communication, supervisory and mentoring skills, reliable, attention to details and accuracy are necessary. Valid driver's license required to travel as needed to project sites.Target candidate will be responsible for developing/mentoring junior field staff in learning all aspects of the SUE process and promoting a team environment. This will require working in the field at various times and assisting field crews in their daily duties.Target candidate will be responsible for assisting leadership in client meetings and presentations to continue developing growth of the business outside of existing clients.Additional responsibilities include:Maintaining an accurate personnel, vehicle and equipment database for entire SUE groupTrain and implement the usage of PointMan, TransparentEarth and FulcrumMaintain database KCI forms created on Fulcrum Application as well as running subsequent reportsAudit and approve new equipment purchases and maintain relationships with vendorsAttend equipment and technology advancement conferences when applicablePlanning field leader's training meetingsConduct monthly field leader meetings to promote cohesion and a united SUE group.Enforce the implementation of the SUE Tech Levels and the proper placement of SUE Field Technicians.Conduct pre-promotion and new hire evaluations/interviews for Tech III and aboveAssist local project manager with project management and field tasks when applicablePreferred experience:Experience and proficiency with 3D GPR-ArrayConcrete GPR experienceSuccessful track record of developing national client baseExperience utilizing PointMan or similar softwareExperience with GPS mapping (Trimble or Emlid)Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 - 12 years of professional experience.Appropriate professional certification preferred.Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.Performance Expectations

Complete Annual Individual Training ProgramMentor and train staffTrain adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absenceDevelop and maintain customer relationships by soliciting monthly performance feedback, identifying client needs, and identifying the next projectComply with all KCI policies and proceduresEnsure projects fulfill ISO compliance requirementsManage work routine of all assigned staff and assign job activities as requiredComplete other duties as required/assignedProvide input to develop project-specific safety plans and implement project safety plans and ensure compliance with all Federal, state, and local safety rules and regulationsReport monthly proposal results to operations managerAchieve or exceed budgeted individual utilization target (75%-80% typical)Attend bi-weekly (or more frequently as necessary) meetings with project team on all projects/tasksChart and provide project performance resultsConsult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as requiredDeliver all projects on time and within budget while fully meeting the scopeEnsure effective use of equipment and personnelMeet monthly (or more frequently as necessary) with project analyst to review project invoicesMeet monthly with practice leader to review project performanceOperate within specified (corporate or project) budget parametersPrepare and submit monthly project completion reportPrepare interpractice agreements and/or outside requests as requiredPrepare monthly progress reports for all projectsPrepare monthly project staff utilization planPropose and negotiate scope, schedule and fee estimate for tasks and projectsProvide bi-weekly percent complete data to project assistantProvide monthly project updates to practice leaderProvide monthly WIP/AR comments to the operations managerProvide technical project and staff oversightProvide weekly new project budget data to the practice leaderServe as project or task manager on select projectsCompare field data to design plansConduct site visits and gather data, including measurements, sketches, notes and photographs as neededPrepare preliminary concept designs and submit for approvalRead and interpret technical documents required for project executionKCI Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
