Job OverviewAs a Director, you will oversee and manage the operations of the organization, ensuring high-quality care and services are provided to residents. You will be responsible for leading a team and implementing strategies to enhance resident well-being.
Responsibilities
Monitor patient care activities and ensure adherence to best practices
Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide medical decisions
Manage budgeting processes to optimize resources effectively
Uphold resident rights and promote a safe and respectful environment
Coordinate acute care services for residents in need of specialized treatment
Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations
Provide leadership and guidance to staff members for professional development
Oversee home care programs and ensure quality services are delivered
Conduct case management activities to support individual resident needs
Requirements
Proficiency in patient monitoring techniques
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Experience in budgeting and financial management
Understanding of resident rights and regulations in healthcare settings
A background in acute care services is preferred
Ability to review documentation accurately
Demonstrated leadership skills in a healthcare setting
Familiarity with home care programs and services
Experience in case management for diverse resident populations
Must HaveBachelor’s Degree; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
Minimum of 7 years in physician practice management or similar healthcare setting, with specific leadership experience is required.
Business Mathematical Skills, Advanced Computer Skills, Project Planning/Organization, and Functional Independent Judgement.
