We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Senior Project Manager I is responsible for all aspects of multiple medium to large projects with moderate to high complexity. This individual is responsible for taking projects from original concept through completion, acting as a single point of accountability for the projects, and utilizing Parallon Project Controls and Standards to ensure projects meet their stated objectives. The Senior Project Manager I must demonstrate strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating and taking ownership of risks/issues and facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner. Moderate to Heavy travel may be required.What you will do in this role:Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members, and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in project planAuthor/facilitate strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, and detailed project plans, and present project updates to business ownersManage and communicate a clear project scope and motivate team membersManage multiple business owner(s) and team member(s) relationships to accomplish project activitiesProactively identify and manage risks, issues, and cross-project dependenciesMonitor and report on project activities and reporting on statuses within published timelinesCoach team members to clarify task assignments, milestones, and deliverablesIdentify, prepare, and/or ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each project planFacilitate the creation of toolkits to support field-based implementationsPC / Technical SkillsMicrosoft Office applications (including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint)Online collaboration tools, such as WebEx and conference calling toolsProject Management tools, including Microsoft Project 2013, and preferably the Microsoft Project Server portfolio and project management toolWhat qualifications you will need:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the healthcare industryHealthcare, hospital system, hospital, supply chain, workforce management, financial services, technical/systems experience a plusHCA, HealthTrust, or Parallon experience a plusPMP certification preferred, but not requiredLEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certification a plus, but not requiredParallon (https://parallon.com/)
