This key leadership position ensures client and customer satisfaction with efficient management that meets and exceeds expectations. Responsibilities include all foodservice-related activities such as retail, cafeteria, catering, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and client-related activities.Key Responsibilities:Manage salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.Interview, hire, and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline associates; address complaints and resolve problems.Prepare and manage the annual budget.Utilize company systems for completion of required reports such as inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll/time-keeping, etc.Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards and safety guidelines.Other duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications:B.S. Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field; or A.A. Degree plus four years of directly related experience preferred.Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge.Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable.Strong supervisory, leadership, and communication skills.Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational skills.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.Apply to Morrison Healthcare today!Morrison Healthcare is a member of Compass Group USA and is an equal opportunity employer.
