Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Austin, TX or Denver, CO office with industrial building and energy experience. This includes managing all activities related to large generation projects such as project scope, schedule, cost/budget, quality, communications, resources, procurement, and risk elements to optimize client service and financial performance.

What You Will Be Doing:

Lead the planning and implementation of medium to large multiple discipline engineering projects.

Support business development by participating in project scoping, fee development, proposal preparation, and contract development.

Review assigned project(s) after award to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules and budgets.

Form a project team and assign responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule.

Submit documents to authorities for code compliance review and obtain necessary permits.

Meet with client management to resolve issues and obtain approvals.

Maintain a continuing business relationship with clients.

Plan, organize, communicate, and coordinate project engagements.

Manage day-to-day activities of project engagements.

Prepare project opening orders, outlines, schedules, and closings.

Achieve project objectives including quality, budgets, and schedules.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive Project Records.

Analyze project performance, resource utilization, profitability, and margins.

Identify potential out-of-scope work and manage contract change orders.

Identify and manage project risk throughout the project lifecycle.

Train, mentor, and oversee other Project Managers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in engineering, construction management, or business.

Minimum of 20+ years of experience in the Energy Engineering Industry.

Experience in Thermal Generation projects such as Gas Turbine and Reciprocating Engines.

Firm understanding of financial management.

Demonstrated success in managing large multi-discipline projects.

Outstanding time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Business Administration-MBA.

Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification.

Base Compensation:

$130,000 - $175,000
