Direct and manage instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities.Qualifications:
Education/Certification:Master’s degree in educational administrationTexas principal or other appropriate Texas certificateCertified Professional Development and Appraisal System (PDAS) appraiserSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Working knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectivenessAbility to manage budget and personnelAbility to coordinate campus functionsAbility to implement policy and proceduresAbility to interpret dataStrong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skillsExperience:Two years experience as a classroom teacherTwo years experience in instructional leadership rolesSalary Range:
The position is on the Administrative/Professional pay schedule. The minimum salary is $82,637.00 annually with additional compensation considered based on experience. The position works a 220 Work Calendar. The position has a July start date at the beginning of each calendar year. This position will be recruited moving forward in the month of September with the start date determined based on hire date.Benefits:
Wimberley ISD offers health insurance through the Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) and contributes $350.00 towards the monthly premium for the plan of choice.
