Overview:
As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by leading and managing the quality assurance processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Tech Stack:
Automation Testing, Manual Testing, JMeter (Performance Testing), Mobile Testing, Firebase
Responsibilities:Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team.
Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications. Define test strategies, including manual and automated testing approaches.
Test Execution:
Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure that testing objectives are met. Perform hands-on testing as needed, especially in complex or critical areas.
Automation:
Lead the automation efforts for test scripts, leveraging appropriate testing tools and frameworks. Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software. Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects. Collaborate with Business during UAT.
Quality Assurance Processes:
Establish and improve QA processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement and enforce best practices for testing and quality assurance.
Performance and Load Testing:
Design and execute performance and load testing scenarios to ensure the scalability and reliability of applications.
Reporting and Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Provide regular status reports on testing progress and quality metrics, defect triaging.
Continuous Learning:
Stay current with industry trends, testing methodologies, and tools. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
