Summary:

Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading customer services representatives, ensuring that sales targets are met, customer satisfaction is maintained, and team performance is optimized. This role involves managing daily operations, coaching and developing team members, and collaborating with other departments to drive revenue growth and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals.

Set clear performance expectations and goals for the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and create sales strategies.

Implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies and sales campaigns.

Oversee customer service operations, ensuring that customer inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and effectively.

Implement processes and standards to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Act as an escalation point for complex customer service issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner.

Supervise the returned product process, issuing RMA numbers, entering RMA orders and issuing tickets.

Generate quotations and enter new sales orders into ERP/MRP system.

Continuously evaluate and improve sales and customer service processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of sales, contract review and customer service workflows.

Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, business development and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and customer satisfaction.

Communicate regularly with management regarding team performance, customer feedback, and sales forecasts.

Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, customer service metrics, and team development to senior management.

Utilize CRM tools and other software to track and report on key metrics. Infor and/or IFS CRM tool experience a plus.

Review and make corrections to month end commission report.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

4 years prior customer service or inside sales experience required, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing customer service teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

High level of customer focus and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Infor CRM or IFS CRM) and other sales tools.

Proficiency in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the RF and Microwave, aerospace, military, space.

Familiarity with customer service best practices and standards.

Ability to motivate and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
