Phibro’s revenues are in excess of $820 million and are supported by over 1500 employees worldwide.The Account Manager is an integral part of our Management team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.An account manager will create demand and add value through consultative and technical selling with key influencers and decision-makers in the layer segment of the poultry industry. Parties would include production managers, veterinarians, nutritionists, senior level leaders up to and including owners, and other individuals influencing the region. In addition, the account manager will be involved with specific projects related to delivering current year budget and/or achieving desired longer-term culture and vision. Achieve sales, gross margin, and expense budgets in assigned geography, while coordinating planning and activities with peers. Must reside within a reasonable driving distance of a Mid-West regional airport, i.e., Minneapolis, Des Moines, Indianapolis, Columbus. This position will focus on the layer segment of the poultry industry.Key Responsibilities

Lead the sales efforts for Phibro poultry portfolio within assigned territory.Understand the science behind each Phibro poultry solution and communicate the benefits to each customer segment.Effectively communicate the benefits of each Phibro solution against competitive products and company services.Focus on demand creation through training and product/sales support while adjusting to the changing internal and external environments necessary to deliver territory budget and expectations.Participate in forecasting processes for the region supported.Provide input to poultry unit business lead for:Pricing of products and services to maximize customer value and margin contribution.Input on sales support materials needed in the field.Novel ideas, processes, and opportunities to capture value for the customer and Phibro.Report on industry, customer, and competitive trends within assigned area.Proactive and consistent use of Phibro’s CRM system.Collaborate with Phibro technical service team to support sales efforts.Skills

Must have business acumen, energy and drive, positive attitude, client-focused, flexible, and empathetic. Must have planning skills sufficient for establishing work priorities and meeting client commitments. Must have proven sales skills and previous contact with clients and their operation. Must have sales skills to effectively help the client to overcome obstacles. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both strategic and functional levels. Ability to do formal presentations to large groups of technical and non-technical people. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products. Must be proficient using Email, phones, cell phones, and office equipment.Education & Experience
