K-12, Higher Education and/or Municipal experience is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will be relatively knowledgeable regarding the financial side of things (change orders, etc.). This position involves zero overnight travel.Essential FunctionsCoordination of Drawings and Specifications with TradesPrepare RFI and SubmittalsPrepare Procurement Log to manage and schedule long lead itemsCoordinate meetings with Trades, Clients, Governing Agencies and InspectorsManage Trade and Owner Change OrdersSchedule work as necessary to meet scheduleManage costs for varying scopes of workBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience requiredAt least 4 years of previous construction office or field commercial experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role1-year or more of direct supervisory experienceExperience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.)Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reportsExperience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s)Preferred ExperienceLocal candidate preferred, but not required.About UsBalfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting, at-risk construction management and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
