Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, related field, or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred.At least seven (7) years of experience in Global Procurement (Specialize in technology related industry and components).Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management, specifically in technology related industry commodities.Experience in PCB/PCBA, Mechanical, Machining, Plastics, Battery, Electrical, and/or Electronics category.Experience creating strategies across different businesses.Proven expertise in global procurement of electronics components, molded plastics, PCB/PCBA's, and management of contract manufacturers with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in GPS and Technology.Understanding of specialized quality standards and the ability to ensure supplier compliance within this segment.Ability to address complex specialized supply chain challenges and implement effective solutions.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Demonstrated functionality in the core competencies listed below:Manage Supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes.Strong ability to build and maintain specialized relationships with suppliers to secure favorable terms and performance.Strong negotiation and contract management skills, specialized in the technology sector and related components.Ensure relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships.Manage Global Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis and Global Technology / Economic trends.Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions.Exceptional market analysis skills specialized in identifying trends and anticipating market shifts within the electronic components sector.Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other organizations. (Partner with business teams).Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies.Create sourcing strategy across Strategic Business Groups.Drive a value proposition from analyses of complex data.Assist in Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required.Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, with a specialized focus.Improve Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories.Inventory and Lead time reductions.Demonstrated expertise in specialized cost-saving strategies and supply chain efficiency specific to the technology sector and related components.Responsibilities

SummaryThe Senior Commodity Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the procurement, supply chain, and market trend analysis for these critical technology commodities. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring the company's competitive edge in the rapidly evolving technology industry.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Commodity Manager develops and executes a global supply chain strategy to ensure a reliable and efficient flow of components worldwide.Develops and leverages an extensive network of specialized suppliers in the electronic components industry to secure favorable terms, pricing, and quality standards.Leads the company in staying current with emerging market trends in technologies; Develops and implements strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.Develops and provides ongoing training and mentorship to enhance the team's expertise and awareness of market dynamics.Creates comprehensive training materials to educate the organizational teams on the technical aspects, value propositions, and market trends of these commodities.Identifies cost-saving opportunities specific to components through strategic negotiations, value engineering, and supply chain optimization.Reviews, analyzes and ensures that suppliers meet and exceed quality and compliance standards for components, collaborating closely with quality teams to resolve any issues.The Senior Commodity Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations to align procurement strategies with business objectives within the specialized segment.Performs other duties as assigned.Facility Overview
