ChicagoAbout – Maintenance TechnicianMy client is well-renowned within the industry and is going through an exciting period of growth. The Maintenance Technician will be expected to carry out repairs, maintain machinery/equipment, and fabricate metal parts and tools by performing the following duties:Job Description – Maintenance TechnicianPerforms electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.Assists operators in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.Dismantles, assembles, and installs industrial machinery.Follows specifications, blueprints, and job orders.Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Qualifications / Experience – Maintenance TechnicianAble to read prints, schematics, or owner’s manuals on machinery to facilitate repairs or preventative maintenance.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on machinery.Trained in tooling maintenance and preventative maintenance.A minimum of 2+ years prior experience within maintenance.Any welding and steel industry experience would be a nice to have.All successful Maintenance Technicians will be contacted within 2 days of application.
