Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

to join our growing Internal IT team.About The Role

The Role of the Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is to work alongside our product owners, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to identify, design, create and execute appropriate test cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will assist the Quality Assurance team in the development and adherence to quality standards and software development best practices such as Agile/Scrum development practices, Release Management, and Testing Automation.The Senior QA Engineer reports to the Manager of IT Software Quality Assurance. Will receive work direction from the Lead Senior QA Engineer. Works closely within the Enterprise Application Development teams including Development and Automation, Data Engineering, Professional Services Automation, and Web Systems.As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, You Will

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts through the development process to release functional, performant, and secure applications regularly.Ensure quality issues, risks, and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in the defect tracking system (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases using appropriate relevant quality assurance tools and techniques (Selenium, C#, Page Object Model, etc.).Organize and prioritize tests, delegating testing assignments.Compile and report manual/automation relevant results for any releases or activities.Coordinate with wider quality teams to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code/scripts for the most valuable scenarios.Provide information and recommendations of the current state of quality by analyzing and summarizing findings based on the output of automation, compile documentation of progress and results.Enforce best practices around automation code and work item management; working with the team to ensure tests involved in any automated pipelines are healthy.Mentor less experienced quality assurance engineers and developers in quality aspects.Stay current with researching new testing technologies and improving existing solutions.What You Will Need

At least 3 years of experience working in Software Development Life Cycle or related.Experience within testing software applications.Experience with programming languages like C# or JavaScript and/or Python.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development process.Familiar with cloud-based technologies and platforms (e.g., Azure).Experienced with API, Integration development, and testing.Familiar with performance and/or security testing.Good understanding of database testing responsible for designing, executing, and documenting test cases and scenarios for database systems.Ensure data is extracted and compared from two or more sources to ensure that they are consistent and accurate.Expertise in data comparison using Excel and Tools.Identifying and reporting discrepancies and issues by collaborating with stakeholders in a timely manner.Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.Our Perks
