Central Intake Coordinator . The Intake Coordinator responds to all intake inquiries (in-person & telephonic) received and completes initial screening for new clients within the behavioral health service line. The Intake Coordinator schedules initial intake appointments with the appropriate programs. The Intake Coordinator is a hybrid position that works out of 4840 W Byron St. Chicago, IL 60641.Schedule:

Respond to incoming calls from potential clients seeking services.Refer clients that do not meet criteria for LSSI services to care coordination for evaluation and linkage to additional resources.Verify benefits and match insurance coverage to the appropriate service or provider.Maintain superior knowledge of LSSI programs and alternative community resources.Manage influx of new clients and program size, especially for inpatient programs.Proficient use of electronic health record and client tracking systems.Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work or related human service field.Master’s degree preferred.Some experience in social services field preferred.Bilingual fluency in Spanish preferred.Team-oriented.Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.There will be minimal driving required for this position.Copy of auto insurance and valid IL drivers’ license required.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, pregnancy, any other characteristic protected by law.
