In 2020, we undertook a strategic effort to transform FRFS from a product and support office framework to a national, enterprise-focused organization. Our North Star strategy, with the new structure, is to offer a fully integrated product suite that provides speed, resilience, and choice in meeting the payments needs of financial institutions across the United States.The FedCash Services group within FRFS is seeking a Business Analyst to join the FedCash Business Solutions & Support team. This position will support a variety of projects and tasks that may include operations support, national coin and currency inventory management, market intelligence, and business resiliency for the Federal Reserve System.Essential Responsibilities:Perform net payment forecasting, inventory levels tracking, scheduling and coordinating currency and coin shipments, and collaborating with Board of Governors and U.S. Mint stakeholders.Collect, model, analyze, and interpret sophisticated and/or broad data; identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Prepare and present a variety of operational analyses and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.Perform day-to-day project management and administration tasks in support of department-led projects and initiatives in a collective, team-based environment.Establish and maintain effective customer relations with Reserve Bank peers, management, and industry team members to meet short-, mid-, and long-term national objectives.Collaborate with all levels of the organization and industry stakeholders on decision and strategic options that may have operational, policy, or financial impacts to the business area.Develop, implement, and steer analytical and operational projects with or without formal direction from leaders and find opportunities for further refinement of existing processes.Qualifications:Intermediate level experience with Excel, SQL, and Tableau.Basic familiarity with SAS or other statistical reporting software, Microsoft Visual Basic for applications, and Python or R is preferred.An understanding of coin and currency processing is preferred.Problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with an ability to address problems in non-traditional ways.The ability to be respectful, personable, and effective in written and verbal communication.Excellent interpersonal and consensus-building skills; ability to work independently and lead members of a team in an environment with diverse sets of team members.The ability to formulate a plan of analysis designed to arrive at a solution to a problem or otherwise illustrate how data describes a scenario and a likely outcome.Able to communicate the results of analyses concisely and clearly, draft white papers summarizing results, and create effective visualizations and presentations.Base Salary Range:
