Position Summary:Revolutionary Clinics was one of the first cannabis companies in Massachusetts. Our production facility in Fitchburg, MA supplies products to hundreds of retailers throughout the state, including our own medical and adult-use dispensaries. Rev’s product catalog is home to several well-known brands, including Kiva, El Blunto, Mr. Moxey’s, Papi, and more.

As a Wholesale Account Manager - (Massachusetts) at Revolutionary Clinics, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, building client relationships, and making business connections in the Massachusetts cannabis industry. This role is a hybrid position with time spent at Rev dispensaries, clients’ dispensaries, production facilities, on the road, and at our offices within Massachusetts. This role requires collaboration with our sales, marketing, retail, and production teams.

As a Wholesale Account Manager, you will utilize your in-depth knowledge of the cannabis industry, products, and regulations. Responsibilities include generating leads, managing existing client accounts, meeting individual sales targets, and helping meet company-wide sales targets. Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. This role may require additional responsibilities as assigned within the organization to achieve sales.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cannabis industry, including dispensaries, cultivators, manufacturers, and other relevant entities.

Conduct market research to identify potential clients and develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and pain points.

Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold calling, networking events, trade shows, and other channels to establish strong business relationships.

Present and promote our company's products and services to potential clients, showcasing their value and benefits.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Manage and nurture existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationships.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering ongoing support.

Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.

Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and maximize revenue opportunities.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.

Achieve and exceed sales targets, both in terms of revenue and market share.

Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to drive business growth and increased market penetration.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and potential risks.

Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management regarding sales achievements, pipeline status, and market insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a unified approach in serving clients and meeting business objectives.

Travel as assigned throughout Massachusetts to accomplish all roles and responsibilities.

Take on other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or 3-5 years of related field experience.

Proven track record of success in sales, account management, or business development roles within the cannabis industry.

Self-motivated and target-driven, with a passion for achieving results and exceeding expectations.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.

Ability to or experience generating 500k+ in monthly sales within the cannabis industry.

Required Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of the cannabis industry, including market trends, products, regulations, and key players.

Possess an established book within the Cannabis Industry.

Must be at least 21 years or age or older.

Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs unassisted.

Must pass a comprehensive background check annually to ensure compliance within Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary Clinics set regulations.

Reliability & attendance are essential job functions of every position at Rev Clinics.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Massachusetts.

Flexibility of hours for travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
