We design and manufacture the world’s leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high efficiency, high-density power management, and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor and hybrid applications.Primary Activities/Duties:Ensure labor and materials are present to meet schedule attainment.Ensure a quality product is assembled and packaged according to customer specifications and standards.Meet/exceed all targets for Quality, Productivity, Uptime, On-Time Delivery and Cost.Must be able to perform work content at every station per work instruction and to takt time.Maintain a clean, orderly work environment following 6S principles.Oversee cross training of assembly line workers; keep training matrix up-to-date.Drive continuous improvement to achieve a World Class manufacturing environment through implementation of Rittal Production System (RPS).Interface with quality, engineering, buyer/planner to help resolve any production issues.Interface with internal suppliers (i.e. paint, fab) to resolve production issues.Actively participate in improving assembly operations; develop new ideas or methods to improve efficiency.Actively engage with peers, supervisors and management in creation of a positive workplace culture.Ensure team members are meeting/exceeding expectations and achieving goals.Ensure all operations are performed in a safe manner achieving a zero accident environment.Ensure OPM’s are executed on time, every time in your area.Ensure work instructions are posted, employees are trained and execute to them.Assist in providing timely and accurate feedback.Continuously improve your own skills and competencies.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge & Experience:HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Must have excellent communication skills and previous supervisory experience. Must have an understanding of Six Sigma & Lean methodology and a thorough knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
