Senior Contract Support Specialist (CEI)

GAI is seeking a CEI Contract Support Specialist to support our Panama City, FL office for ongoing projects. The Contract Support Specialist position primarily involves assisting the Project Administrator (PA) and Senior Project Engineer (SPE) in various aspects of the construction contract administration, including maintaining various construction logs, creating agendas and minutes for meetings, coordinating with Senior Inspectors and Inspectors, and coordinating with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) personnel. For this opportunity, good public relations, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with others are required.

Job Duties:

Presents critical thinking skills in specific practice area; applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.

Coordinate construction meetings and produce minutes for review and distribution.

Complete office-related duties on FDOT construction projects such as Interim and Final Estimates, maintain electronic project records, process construction contract changes, etc.

Develop and take initiative to be proactive and anticipate tasks.

Assist members of the CEI team in other office-related tasks.

Job Qualifications:

An Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degree with at least 4 years’ experience on FDOT roadway and bridge construction projects or at least 8 years’ experience with 6 years’ experience on FDOT roadway and bridge construction projects.

CTQP Final Estimates Level I and Level II.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software.
