Job Title: Team Lead - Distribution Center AssociateCompany: CFS Brands / WincoAbout Winco Distribution Center:At the Foodware Group, with our divisions, Winco and GET, we specialize in the efficient end-to-end distribution of high-quality commercial kitchen products, from tableware to cookware appliances, across the US. We are on the lookout for a dynamic Inventory Associate to join our team and be a key player in our continued growth and success.Your RoleYou will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising and training a team of warehouse workers and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership:
Responsible for leading the team and communicating with the leadership team.Inbound:
Responsible for all inbound product tracking, import clearance approvals, and documentation filings, including Entry Summaries, HBLs, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.System Management:
Serves as back-up resource for the Inbound Shipment process in B.Y to ensure all in-transit inventory is recorded, tracked, and received efficiently, and file carrier damage claims until resolution.Receiving:
Properly account for the location of incoming goods, physical receipt and put away, assure no damaged items are received, and keep a running log of receiving discrepancies.System Transactions:
Evaluate transactions to resolve count discrepancies.Manage Orders:
Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products match.Troubleshoot:
Play a significant role in error detection and process improvement pertaining to item receipts and physical organization.Process Improvement:
Communicate with product development and supply chain on ways our vendors can improve shipping and packaging.Teamwork:
Coordinate with supply chain to ensure inbound orders are received properly upon physical receipt.Audits:
Conduct daily dock audits for dock to stock.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inbound logistics in a fast-paced warehouse environment with experience in item receipts and inventory.Excellent attendance history.Requires mathematical skills to perform basic functions and calculations.Very organized, accurate, detail-oriented, and professional.Team player with a positive attitude.Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.Why Join Us?Be Essential:
