Department: Procurement Services (10000977)Employee Designation: Regular Full-time (Benefits Eligible)The Warehouse Supervisor oversees and directs warehouse operations, including receiving and coordinating the delivery of large or heavy items, managing the delivery and pickup of surplus property, and handling the collection and disposal of surplus property. The incumbent is responsible for identifying and tagging items for inventory, preparing goods receipts, and generating reports. Additionally, this position assists the Warehouse Manager by taking on administrative tasks as needed.Examples of Work Performed

Supervises and coordinates the activities of the warehouse.Assists with coordinating deliveries, tagging equipment, scheduling pickups, and collecting salvage items.Supervises and participates in the shipping of packages.Assists with the maintenance of records related to the purchase, receipt, and delivery of goods. Assists with verification of contents and reviews condition of order and notes discrepancies on receiving records.Assist customers with surplus property.Maintains communication with faculty, staff, administrative offices, and external personnel regarding the receipt and shipment of goods and supplies.Supervises and participates in the tracking of lost, mis-delivered, or damaged packages.Assists with packing items for customers and provides instructions for package shipment, including the shipping process.Trains, supervises, and oversees the work of departmental staff and student workers as needed.Maintains and updates the sale of University property via the University's current sale procedures/processes.Maintains and updates surplus property database.Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.Essential Functions

The incumbent is occasionally required to maintain balance; reach with hands and arms; and use hands to finger, handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.Education:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).Experience:One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.Licensure:Must possess a valid driver’s license.Preferred:Bachelor's DegreeThe hourly range for this position is $18.64 - $27.96EEO Statement
