To develop and innovate cost effective electronics designs of Motor controllers, Heater drivers, LED driver & IoT based solutions.Major Areas of ResponsibilitiesProvide technical direction, guidance and engineering expertise to the electronics design team (5-6 member team) and other cross-functional teams.Develop, debug and test analog and digital power/digital electronic circuits.Design and selection of components like magnetics, FETs, IGBTs, SCRs, ICs, micro-controllers etc.Software/firmware development for embedded devices.Simulate the design, create schematics/board layout and prepare functional prototype.Carry out design reviews, DFMEA & CREX analysis.Plan for validation and reliability testing of components/circuit along with validation engineer.Come up with new ideas and innovations which can solve consumer pain points.Collaborate with external suppliers, institutes & individual inventors for technical developments.Contribute in developing innovation ecosystem, market trend mapping & technology roadmaps.Maintain test records, analyze and share observation/suggestions with the relevant stakeholders.Evaluate suppliers on the required parameters.Gracefully adjust to meet changing circumstances such as reorganizations, reassignment of project priority, changes in strategic direction, and customer needs.Handle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to shape problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact.QualificationDesired Qualification : ME/M.tech (EE/EEE/ECE)Experience : 10+ yearsIndustry Preference : Home appliances, White goods, Automotive, LightingRequired Level (1-4)Strong knowledge of different AC/DC converter topologies including high frequency ones (Buck, boost, fly-back, HB/FB inverters) - Level 4Knowledge of EMI/EMC, high frequency magnetics and control systems - Level 3Familiarity with simulation tools like Pspice, MATLAB, LTspice & SABER & PCB layout design software skill like Altium, Orcad etc - Level 3Hands on experience on 8bit,16bit,32bit MCU [MSP430/ PIC/AVR/ATMEL/ST] & IDEs like Microchip studio, CCS, MPLABX, Arduino - Level 4Manufacturing processes - Level 3Knowledge on sensors and actuators - Level 4Knowledge on electrical motors used across industry - Level 2Any specific requirementDemonstrated track record of electronics design preferably in the field of home appliances/lighting.Ability to travel 10% of the time is required (travel includes Domestic and International).
