We are a high-growth, innovative and ambitious company and we are embarking on an exciting trajectory of both digital and international expansion.About the roleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Coordinator of Product Development and Production to join our team at Spanx. The ideal candidate will be key support in the end-to-end process of product development and production, from concept ideation to final product delivery. The Coordinator of Product Development and Production will be project and tactically focused to support innovation, quality, and efficiency in our apparel manufacturing processes.This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters, requires weekly in-office work Tuesday-Thursday, and reports into the Manager of Product Development & Production.Job Description
You’ll love it because you will…Support the product life cycle from concept ideation to final garment delivery through:Run department reporting and verify the accuracy of data.Manage team packages through tracking, receiving, and logging tasks.Support manager with document setup, seasonal prep, and data management.Support leader with delivering on all key T&A dates and development deadlines (protos, fits, commit dates, production start dates, etc.).System information setup and maintenance for respective team (PLM, BlueCherry).Attend weekly Cross-Functional Team meetings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Tech Design, Merchandising, Materials & Color, QA, Planning) to achieve product development milestones, margin goals, and to resolve issues as they arise.Deliver all development samples on time for line reviews, from concept through adoption, that meet cost and aesthetic expectations.Manage Purchase Order process to ensure product is ordered, produced, and shipped on time.Qualifications
Minimum 1+ years’ experience in production/sourcing role.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.Basic understanding of product development and production processes or manufacturing.Results-focused with strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload for self, with effective time management skills to deliver quality work in a timely manner.Creative problem solver and strategic thinker that proactively seeks opportunities to drive positive change.Clear communicator with ability to adapt to different situations and personalities to cater information to the audience to cultivate solutions.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel).Additional Information
