Our Platform software and operating strategy enables smart device OEMs and Utility partners to lead this shift, and we are looking for an exceptionally talented product manager who will cultivate a fantastic team experience and continuously deliver features and partnerships that expand our ecosystem of demand response capable devices.
As the Product Manager - Energy Ecosystems, you will be an individual who loves to engage with interesting software problems, is well versed in API and service development, and has the passion to build and shape the future within a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. You will partner closely with a cross functional development team and be accountable for delivery of innovative features and stewardship of an Energy ecosystem you will architect.JOB DUTIES:
Provide exceptional customer relationship and Energy Market skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders in an organized manner.Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.Deliver projects with agile methodologies.YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.8+ years of product or program management experience with Institutional Energy experience an advantage.5+ years of relevant software engineering or system design experience.5+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules.5+ years of leading cross-functional projects with large groups of technical and business stakeholders.Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.WE VALUE:
Exhibit a strong track record of on-time project delivery for large, cross-functional projects, preferably in SaaS (Software as a service) platforms.Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including executives and non-technical leaders.Show a capability to create a strong business and technical vision and drive a team towards a progressive eco system environment.Demonstrate strong execution abilities by identifying, evaluating, tracking, and mitigating issues and risks.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
