Your Team
The Global Investment Compliance (IC) Change Team supports IC in aspects of transformational change. This includes assisting in the management of the book of business deliverables and collaborating across functions to drive change according to the firm’s strategy. The team works closely with Regional IC teams to ensure the IC function has robust global tools and processes required to perform all aspects of the IC lifecycle in an effective and efficient manner. This requires them to have a deep understanding of the IC lifecycle and the systems and data required to perform this work. This also requires the team members to possess the skills to plan and to execute such plans. Invesco defines IC work as interpretation of investment restrictions from legal contracts and regulations, implementation of pre- and post-trade controls in order management systems and the ongoing maintenance of these controls over time.Your Role
Working as part of the Global Investment Compliance (IC) Change Team, this role supports IC in aspects of transformational change. This includes assisting in the management of the book of business deliverables and collaborating across functions to drive change according to the firm’s strategy.You Will Be Responsible For:
Develop partnerships with leaders in functional and operational groups to identify and deliver solutions to support transformational projects across IC, data, technology, and business processes.Manage IC deliverables ensuring requirements are signed off, timelines agreed & tracked, working with global IC teams and functional partners to ensure resources are allocated.Be a strategic and creative thinker representing IC at all levels to provide real-time input into decisions during key cross-functional initiatives; be the voice of IC for all change across Invesco.Perform analysis on a range of data sets to identify potential issues and opportunities for enhancements. Document findings accordingly.Present across teams at both peer and Senior Leadership level.Enhancement ideas, being able to extract and analyze data in support of the idea.Solutions to issues with a link to the root cause and logical steps identifying how the solution mitigates the issues.Working with the Global IC Team to communicate status, capture, document their requirements and feedback on all initiatives that impact IC.Support the development of IC related tools including investment restriction database (UnifyIC), SharePoint sites, dashboards, report automations and order management system upgrades.Document complete and accurate business models across affected areas including front-to-back flows reflecting process, data, and organization.The Experience You Bring:
7+ years’ experience in related roles in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Investment Banking.Process analysis and identification of improvements.Supporting OMS upgrades and/or conversions from one OMS to another.Creating and executing queries in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DBMS.Product/Solution implementation, development, and support.Experienced in delivering continuous improvements.Developing and executing project plans and test cases.Familiarity with the various project management roles defined by the Agile methodology.Leads others to solve complex problems where significant initiative and independent judgement is required.Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job family and broad knowledge of related job families.May lead functional teams or projects.Contributes to setting standards around which others will operate within area of expertise.Full Time / Part Time
