What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)Provide leadership and supervision to direct reports (Sales Planners). Selects and manages the performance of direct reports.Provide day-to-day operational support to Sales Planners while monitoring/balancing their workloads.Train and educate staff in compliance with company policies, procedures, and ISO compliance.Develop internal processes with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, process improvements, and improvement in accuracy.Provide input on tools needed to assist in servicing accounts.Provide input on metrics measurements for service.

Miscellaneous Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and distribute reports, as required.Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.

What Is Required (Qualifications)High School Diploma or GED.Three+ years of experience in service or materials management.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as typing skills for accurate data entry.Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and organization. Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.Dependable with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high pressure environment while effectively prioritizing workloads.Ability to understand customer forecasts, the impact it has on a factory, and how to use the demand information to meet customer requirements.Ability to effectively analyze a situation and communicate the resolution to others. Adaptable with the ability to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.Proven success in interfacing with customers in global locations.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Previous supervisory experience in service or operations.Knowledge of Murata’s industry, basic business principles, cultural diversities, organization, and products.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.

TravelInfrequent domestic travel, approximately once per quarter.
