The
Senior Buyer
serves as the commodity manager for their assigned commodities, developing and implementing commodity strategies. This role involves planning and procuring various pumps, motors, and electrical components, as well as managing both simple and complex purchase requests, quotes, and sourcing decisions.

Job Responsibilities
Coordinates with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and service to lead and/or execute a sourcing strategy to meet customer and business objectives.
Processes all aspects of Purchase Orders from initial request or requirement to approval of supplier invoices, including sourcing materials, selecting suppliers, verifying, and negotiating pricing and delivery, following up delivery dates, backorders, receiving, and invoicing problems.
Leads quality and delivery improvement projects with suppliers.
Supplies forecasting requirements to manufacturing plants to support customer and Busch needs.
Organizes and facilitates monthly status meetings with manufacturing plants to discuss products, changes in demands, delivery, and quality topics.
Monitors and controls pricing impacts due to tariff and exchange rate changes and communicates any significant changes or impacts.
Collaborates with the Demand Planner regarding any stock plan adjustments due to lead time or demand changes affecting inventory targets and delivery OTD goals.
Coordinates with Product Management on new product launches and product revisions and ensures the ERP system and stock plans are updated accordingly.
Aids in the development of internal process improvements and processes where needed.
Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives.
Assists with special projects as assigned by the Purchasing Supervisor or Supply Chain Manager.
Works closely with Purchasing Supervisor to develop and train Buyers.
Provides supervisory support in the absence of the Purchasing Supervisor.
Required Experience
7-15 plus years of experience in Procurement: Required
Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Business or Purchasing Logistics
Master's Degree Preferred, Field of Study: Business/ Supply Chain
Supplier Development or Supplier Quality Engineer experience: Required
Contract Management experience: Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office; prior experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems: Preferred
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification: Preferred

Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as with a diverse team.

Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
Most felonies are a disqualifier, and misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
