The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing procurement data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize procurement operations.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings.Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.Conduct spend analysis and supplier performance evaluations to support strategic sourcing decisions.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze purchasing requirements, specifications, and historical data.Assist in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.Evaluate supplier proposals and contracts to ensure compliance with company policies.Assist in supplier negotiations and contract management activities, including pricing negotiations and contract renewals.Lead sourcing initiatives for specific categories or projects, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize supplier relationships, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.Provide support to cross-functional teams on procurement-related projects and initiatives.Monitor and track procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the procurement function.CANDIDATE PROFILEBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related analytical roles.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).Experience with procurement software tools such as Coupa and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier relationship management.Occasional travel to Canada, property locations, supplier sites or industry events may be required.BENEFITSCompetitive Base Salary and performance bonusA robust package of Health (Medical (PPO), Dental, Vision), 401k matching, paid vacation suite benefits and employer-paid Short & Long-Term Disability, among other thingsEducational Assistance / Reimbursement to support your drive to learnOpportunity for career advancement across various divisions and departments within the corporate officeBetter Living programs where you are incentivized to reach personal goals or participate in company-wide challengesQuarterly Lifelong Learning Challenges to support your professional growth in ways that are meaningful to you8 paid hours per year of Volunteer Time Off to serve the organization(s) of your choiceFree enrollment into the Dave Ramsey SmartDollar financial wellness program, including the EveryDollar budgeting appAccess to thousands of employee discounts with BenefitHubVenterra Realty is an equal opportunity employer.
