Job Description

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

We support our mission by ensuring that pharmacovigilance (PV) activities carried out by our Research & Development Division and Human Health (HH) are compliant with relevant procedures and regulations across the globe. We do this by ensuring compliance of the company's pharmacovigilance system with global PV requirements as well as ensuring that the system prevents harm from adverse reactions, contributes to the protection of patients and public health and promotes safe and effective use of our medicinal products.

The Global PV Quality Assurance intern will have the opportunity to support and/or participate in advancing the PV QA team's initiatives and projects and develop a greater understanding of the role of quality assurance supporting the advancement of clinical research. The Global PV Quality Assurance intern may also support the following projects and assignments:

Enhance tools and processes used to support PV activities.Lead or assist with the preparation or review of foundational SOPs, Policies, or Execution Resources.Support the PV QA team by assisting with important project-specific tasks to help us advance our operating model and enable new technology implementation with the goal of increasing our efficiency, agility, and flexibility to ensure success in the dynamic development environment.These tasks may include but are not limited to project management, communication development, collaboration tool development, document management, documentation review, technical editing, meeting coordination and facilitation, and other administrative tasks.

Minimum Requirements:Candidates must be available to work full-time for 10-12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June of 2025.Candidates must be a current student (sophomore, junior, senior or masters student) enrolled in a degree-granting program, studying Science, Public Health, Nursing, Epidemiology, or related field.Candidates must have completed at least (2) years of study toward a bachelor's degree before starting in the role.Candidates must have strong organizational skills.Candidates must have demonstrated ability to take initiative and own deliverables.Candidates must have demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment.Candidates must be a demonstrated self-starter with the ability to develop innovative solutions to challenges.Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience & Skills:Preferred candidates should have an interest in Biology, Chemistry, Health Care, Health Science, or Pharmacy.Candidates should have experience with or exposure to development of Dashboards, Analytics or other systems preferred.Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).Candidates should have advanced Excel, Word, PowerApps, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign skills.Candidates should have Project Management skills.Candidates should have experience with document management systems (e.g., FirstDoc, Veeva, Documentum, SharePoint).
