this link .We are actively looking to hire a Plant Manager in our manufacturing facility in the Chicago area.Oversee operations to ensure safetyDevelop plans that help operations run smoothlyAssist in creation and management of budgetsImplement, monitor and meet manufacturing team KPI's (i.e. on-time delivery, supplier performance, product quality, etc.)Provide hands-on leadership in lean manufacturing, including evaluating all existing systems, processes, and metrics with a view to recommending and then implementing improvements which will minimize production costs and waste while maximizing production outputsMaintain, manage and report on inventory levelsUsing reports and software, collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and wasteAnalyze data and create reports to present to executives regarding processesEvaluate employee performance and give suggestions for improvementPresent monthly results of facility to large groupsSupport corporate goals and roll out to the site appropriatelyDrive accountability and outside-the-box thinking to performance metrics within the plant and leadership teamInterface with corporate teams, take part in customer visitsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Operational Management or a similar fieldMin 7+ years related experienceExperience with lean tools including kaizen, 6-Sigma, Continuous Flow Operations, Autonomous and Total Productive Maintenance, Workplace Organization, People Development, Value Stream AnalysisExperience using SAP, SPC and WMS preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsMicrosoft skills – PowerPoint, Teams and EmailPLZ Corp offers a robust suite of benefits including:Company paid Life and Short-Term disabilityVoluntary benefits including additional life, disability, and hospital/accident insurance401k & company provided matchPaid Time OffBonus incentive programs (Note, bonuses are subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status.
