As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position OverviewAlkami is looking to add a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our Technology group. You have the perfect combination of doing it right and getting it done. The ideal candidate will lead and manage projects in the Technology group from initiation to completion, ensuring that the projects are delivered on time, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Technology Project Manager has a strong knowledge of technology processes and procedures and is an organized collaborator ready to collaborate with teams and uphold our Alkami values.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Lead technology initiatives varying in complexity from inception to completionDevelop and maintain complex project plans which involve tasks for multiple teams and stakeholdersManage stakeholder expectations and communication flow as they relate to project deliverables, scope and the project teamEnsure project sponsor engagement through key reporting and project value demonstrationCalculate, track, manage, and report on project budgeting through the project lifecycleManage project value delivery, mitigate risk, and report on project performance trends based on KPIsWork with management and key subject matter experts to map deliverables to project milestonesProvide project status and summary to wide audiences including senior leadershipLead meetings diverse in scope, drive decision making, and maintain project alignmentContribute to continuous process improvement for PMO practices and policiesDrive technical integration projects of company acquisitionsOther duties as assignedQualifications

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, information technology, or other related field or relevant work experienceAt least 5 years of experience in project management, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience leading IT tooling or infrastructure projectsThorough knowledge of project management principles and practicesExperience delivering clear, written and verbal communications to diverse stakeholder groupsDemonstrated experience with a proven track record in successful implementation of technology solutionsExperience leveraging project management tools to lead initiatives and achieve outcomesProven strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to scope problems of diverse complexity and drive to resolutionExperience implementing departmental process improvement initiativesWorking knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)Working knowledge of IT environments, cloud infrastructure, security and/or enterprise toolingWorking knowledge of networking concepts such as firewalls and routing protocolsDesired Skills

Master’s degree in Project Management, Business or other related areaProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationExperience delivering cross functional projects in Agile environmentsAWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud experienceSix Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experienceGeneral knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and integration best practicesCool Things to Know
