About Our ClientClient of the Page GroupJob DescriptionThe Senior Procurement Manager - Logistics will:Possess a robust background in Procurement and Operations, Foreign Trade Operations, Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Ground Transportation, 3PL warehouse negotiations, Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Distribution, and Fleet Management Services.Execute strategic sourcing projects of medium to large scale.Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholder groups to gather and document their business requirements.Conduct and validate data analysis, transforming actionable insights into category strategy recommendations.Lead teams in developing project plans and ensure the successful execution of the strategic sourcing strategy.Innovate strategic sourcing approaches by using analytics to assess scenarios, benefits, risks, and the impact of change management for each option.Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit stakeholders while leveraging market intelligence for fact-based prioritization of opportunities.Support the management of supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in cost savings, quality, and risk management.Address any escalated inquiries or concerns related to strategic sourcing policies, processes, and decisions.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Process Management, or a related field with equivalent experience.3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, management consulting, advisory, or professional services, with a proven track record of results and increasing responsibilities.Adaptable to fast-paced, constantly changing environments.Ability to collaborate as part of a global team, bridging geographic and organizational boundaries to achieve better business outcomes and share best practices.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Specific expertise in relevant indirect spend categories, as needed.Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).What's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits and career development opportunities.Internationally focused role within a global organization.
