These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.How You'll Perform the RoleThe Shipping Clerk is responsible for proactively maintaining customer shipment transactions to ensure timely and accurate product delivery and freight invoicing to customers.Assist with annual inventoryCheck accuracy of entry of shipments and receiptsCommunicate issues to warehouse SupervisorCommunicate with co-workers any information that pertains to shippingEnsure incoming receipts are delivered in a timely mannerAdhere to all plant safety and housekeeping policiesCycle counting of product inventoryMaintain warehouse area for raw material cycle count inventoriesPlans customer orders and shipments to ensure timely, cost efficient and accurate delivery to customersSchedule Customer pick-ups and replenishment ordersOversee order planning process and confirm invoice processCommunicate with operations team regarding scheduling conflicts and allocate orders in MRP systemInputs information into sales orders and related customer information into applicable systems along with investigates problems related to shipment of products, credits, new orders and other customer-related matters.Works without instruction on routine work, with general instructions given on new types of work or special projects.Responsible for working with Customer Service and other supporting functions to ensure all required shipping documentation is obtained prior to shipmentPerforms data analysis into complaints logged and those that physically arrive to the Distribution Center to maintain KPI goalsWhat We Need From YouHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust be a team player with a "can do" attitude3-5+ years of experience in a distribution center, traffic, or a warehouse environment requiredRF Scanner experience is a plusMust be capable of working in hot, dusty areasMust be able to frequently lift and carry 50 lbsMust possess exceptional communication skills both oral and written and be able to read basic EnglishExperience with MS Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel requiredExperience with ERP systems is a plusWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance (including Telehealth options) as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
