A Counter Sales associate for Capital Electric is responsible for selling product to customers, assisting customers with product selection, and developing customer relationships to ensure Capital Electric remains the Electrical Distributor of Choice.Responsibilities:Handle incoming customer phone callsGreet walk-in customersAssist customers with orders and provide appropriate product selectionPick customer orders from the warehouse and bring to the counterPrepare customer sales tickets and charge accordinglyPromote and sell company’s product promotionsProvide assistance to certain warehouse functionsReach monthly goals in sales and gross marginExhibit courtesy and politeness toward customersMulti-task and continually prioritize tasks throughout the dayOther duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GEDSales experience and/or Electrical Knowledge preferred, but will train the right candidateGood and dependable mathematics, verbal, and written communication skillsComputer and MS Office literateAble to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 70 lbs. occasionallyReliable, responsible, and possess a great work ethicWe offer excellent training, career advancement opportunities, and a competitive compensation package to include vacation time, sick time, full health benefits, 401(k), and more.
