We are currently seeking an IT Sales Executive to support the greater Detroit, MI area. As an IT Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth by expanding our IT solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and deliver exceptional client service.To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in business development and technical sales within the IT industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions that meet client requirements. Identify prospects inside and outside the client base of Xerox Business Solutions. Gain initial appointments with key decision makers within the SMB space.Client Needs Assessment:

Determine customer pain points related to their IT environment, technology, and technology assets.Presentation:

Present the benefits of Xerox IT services in terms of financial justification and improvement in quality, performance, and uptime.Lead strategic discussions relative to IT strategies with a non-technical audience.Work closely with sales teams to develop opportunities and qualify/quantify leads.Gain a specified number of new accounts each month through effective telemarketing, networking, and cold calling campaigns.Develop and track opportunities in Salesforce.Collaborate with other divisions to maximize selling potential within the company.Create proposals while collaborating with vCIO and sales staff to accomplish client’s IT objectives.What You Need to Succeed:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience in Managed IT services preferred.Specific experience selling IT solutions, including Network, Data Center, Managed Services, Cloud Services, and Security Solutions preferred.Self-directed, adaptable, and positive.Superior work ethic and high energy level.Willingness to take risks and try innovative, new approaches.Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record.How We Set You Up for Success:Up to six (6) weeks of EVOLVE Sales Development Program training hosted by the Xerox Global Learning and Development (L&D) team.Training includes field time, live prospecting, virtual classes, and self-paced eLearning.Upon completion, the IT Sales Executive will demonstrate foundational knowledge of the Xerox Value Proposition and apply the Xerox Sales Process and Tools.Partner with Sales Specialists and Product/Program Subject Matter Experts (SME).With Our Technology, Build Your Future at Xerox.
