DescriptionJob Summary:

Oversee a group of Outside Sales Representatives in the selling of the Company’s products and services using product, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products and services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. Directs Outside Sales Representatives towards closing sales opportunities, penetrating existing accounts and assisting in the acquisition of new accounts and development within a specified region. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Outside Sales Representatives to achieve profitable sales and gross profit growth objectives.Job Duties:I. Outside Sales PersonnelLead a group of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve regional sales, gross profit objectives.Assist in the preparation and implementation of long and short-term range sales plans while coaching and developing Outside Sales Representatives in creating effective action planning to achieve regional and company goals.Evaluate current sales coverage (Personnel and Territory coverage) and provide Director of Outside Sales and Executive Management with recommendations.Assist Outside Sales Representatives in establishing sales budgets/goals for the year.Coordinate new business development, individual sales strategies and key account strategies with each Outside Sales Representative.Evaluate and coordinate key account strategies with Outside Sales Representatives.Complete periodic evaluations and annual performance reviews of Outside Sales Representatives.Conduct Ride-Alongs with Outside Sales Representatives on a frequent basis.Recruit personnel to fill needs within relative region.Monitor/coordinate CRM maintenance and call report accountability of the Outside Sales Representatives in your region.Benchmarking Outside Sales Representatives daily/weekly activity.Review and monitor selling skills of each Outside Sales Representative.Assist Outside Sales Representatives in selling our E-Commerce Platform to our customers and prospects.Represent the Company professionally with Customers and prospects in your region and on specific account/jobsite assignments.Regular frequency of quality sales calls to Customers and prospects in a systematic order.Introduce new products and make joint sales calls with Vendor Reps, NEFCO Sales Management and outside sales personnel.Assist inside sales as necessary during the quote/order process.Utilize NEFCO catalogs, brochures, and marketing literature, as needed.Attend sales meetings and product training sessions as required.Assist in solving customer complaints, problems, and assist with delinquent accounts (as needed).Submit thorough Call and Expense Reports.Maintain proficiency in NEFCO product catalogs, Eclipse, Microsoft Office Suite.Maintain product and industry proficiency via training on various vendor product platforms and Evergreen Marketing Group, as needed.Oversee the communication and execution of Company policies within the confines of the sales department.Review direct reports’ timecards, ensuring employees’ time is accurately recorded and complete.Approve employee timecards at the end of each period, prior to supervisor deadline.Work with employees to resolve errors (missing punches, adjustments, etc.).Review and approve PTO requests.II. Inside Sales PersonnelCoordinate weekly sales efforts in conjunction with outside sales strategies.Monitor activity of inside sales personnel (quotes/sales) in your region.Monitor sales training growth of inside sales personnel and discuss with Executive Management as needed.Assist in recruiting personnel to fill needs in each branch.Completion of all assigned NEFCO trainings.Monitor and enforce all NEFCO training initiatives for associates under your supervision.Assist in implementation of new training and enhance existing training processes for associates under your supervision.Review direct reports’ timecards, ensuring employees’ time is accurately recorded and complete.Approve employee timecards at the end of each period, prior to supervisor deadline.Work with employees to resolve errors (missing punches, adjustments, etc.).Review and approve PTO requests.RequirementsQualifications:Demonstrate strong ability to work in fast pace, high pressure environment.Excellent computer skills and capability to adeptly operate NEFCO’s CRM, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong customer service skills.Maintain excellent regular attendance, punctuality at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customers.Must perform work accurately and with a sense of urgency and integrity while playing strict attention to detail.Degree is preferred (although industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree).5-7+ years of work experience (preferably in construction supply sales).
