The Starlink Retail Partnerships team serves as the point of contact for Starlink’s growing base of retail customers and spans end-to-end ownership across research, identification, development, capture, delivery, deployment, and fulfillment of all contract terms. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who has a passion for making customers deliriously happy, blazing new trails for Starlink retail partnerships, and growing revenue and brand awareness.RESPONSIBILITIES:Design & develop the frameworks to model out the retail segmentPartner with Finance, Growth, and Production to align on forecasts, assumptions, and methodologyLeverage data to surface leading indicators & deep insights that will provide a guide to the retail teamSupport Starlink growth in identifying, developing, capturing, executing, and expanding Starlink retail partnership opportunities in domestic and international marketsConduct analyses (SQL queries, other methods) that identify issues and opportunities impacting our customers, including actionable recommendations that quantifiably change outcomesIntegrate with all levels of the business to understand current workflows and identify systematic gapsHelp rapidly answer tactical business questions through analytical frameworksDefine and develop department-level metrics & associated dashboards that quantify the health of our operation and influence changeCreate reports, tools, and standardized metrics for operational measurements and improvementsOwn data integrity, tool maintenance, and reporting quality for the Starlink Retail teamTrain internal users and leaders on dashboard and tool usage, assist in troubleshootingSupport forecasting efforts that inform strategy and planningCollaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, regulatory, business, planning etc.)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in a business, supply chain, management information systems, computer science, engineering, or economics1+ years of experience in using Excel, SQL, or Python/R for analysisPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:5+ years of experience in business strategy, finance, analytics, consulting or data analysisStrong experience with modelingAbility to structure complex, ambiguous problems, derive insights from data and articulate clearlyGood with data management & SQL and able to blend multiple data sourcesExperience bringing products/services into retail stores in both domestic US and international markets (i.e. Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, or Africa)Independently motivated, with a demonstrated track record of project ownershipStrong interpersonal, presentation, communication and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with satellite communications and/or the retail industryMBA or master's degree with a business or engineering focused curriculumStrong analytical skills in business and technical issuesADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support critical milestones or operationsMust be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices and customer locations as needed up to 20%COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Pay range:Retail Sales Analyst/Level I: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00/per yearRetail Sales Analyst/Level II: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00/per yearYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
