ABOUT THIS POSITION:We are currently looking to hire a full-time Senior Advertising Sales Account Executive with experience in selling in the Podcast and/or digital space.RESPONSIBILITIES:Leverage existing relationships with agency contacts at media agencies (including Mindshare, Publicis, Horizon, Hearts & Science, etc) for deal flow and target revenue quotasBuild proposals, negotiate and redline contracts, and secure branded campaigns across the Dear Media Talent Roster and additional network offeringsRespond to agency RFP requests and build out media plan deliverables for the Dear Media Talent RosterWork to grow agency relationships by actively pitching new talent and sales opportunitiesManage sales pipeline of opportunity for various talent podcast and social channels such as Instagram, blogs and YouTubeUtilize pitch/sales decks to best present network and shows to agenciesWork towards annual and monthly individual sales goal metricsAdditional responsibilities as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:3-4+ years’ experience in securing podcast or social media deals for talent in the traditional and/or digital spaceMust be proactive, resourceful, efficient and have proven experience selling to media agenciesRelevant experience building out branded campaigns across podcast, blog, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and/or other social media channels.Proven Sales & Marketing experienceLos Angeles, CA or Austin, TX basedDESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:Superior communication, writing and verbal skills with an ability to consult with managementProactive, detail-oriented, and extremely organizedAbility to meet deadlines and possess follow-throughConfidence and ability to negotiate deals and understand deal memos between talent and brandsMarketing savvy, problem-solving and pop culturally awareCreative thinker who can brainstorm innovative ideas/strategiesPositive attitude and strong social skills in speaking to talent and brandsStrong interest in the growing influencer and podcast spaceSOFTWARE SKILLS:Adobe Suite to build pitch decksStrong familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and all other social platformsWhat You’ll Get:Robust benefits package with employer contributionUnlimited vacation timeWFH flexibility when the need arisesPaid parental leaveVolunteer opportunitiesCasual dress code & open office environmentA rewarding career at an industry-leading company with a strong mission and passionate teamDear Media offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees.
