ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE SPECIALISTS (2)

Job DescriptionConduct inspections at various project sites to ensure compliance with Standards and Specifications (Erosion & Sediment and Stormwater Management), as well as local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.Provide coaching and guidance to on-site personnel regarding environmental compliance and stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) book documentation requirements.Perform stormwater management inspections on operational facilities and evaluation of their best management practices (BMPs).Dual certification (stormwater and erosion & sediment) or comparable experience required.Day trips to sites ~4 days/week with home office time for reports and administrative tasks.Safety training and PPE to be provided.Computer and cell phone will be provided.Personal vehicle mileage reimbursed.LocationsHiring for two positions. Home location is flexible, but the work area would be either north and northwest Virginia-focused or southeast Virginia / northeast North Carolina-focused.Per diem or meals/lodging expenses may be covered depending on circumstances.We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
