What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Conduct research and perform data analysis related to defined contribution retirement plans, ensuring legal compliance and responding to inquiries from various stakeholders.Communicate effectively with account management regarding plan testing changes and potential solutions.Resolve complex compliance questions and provide expert advice on contribution allocation and testing correction methods.Serve as a subject matter expert in retirement plan administration and lead training events for staff.Review and provide feedback on work completed by co-workers to ensure accurate plan administration.

What is Required (Qualifications):Minimum of 2 years of experience in defined contribution plan administration, including document interpretation and customer contact.Hands-on experience with compliance and non-discrimination testing of retirement plans.Familiarity with form 5500 preparation.In-depth knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA).Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Pursuit of American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) classes related to the Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designation or higher.Experience in performing annual compliance testing for qualified retirement plans with complex provisions.
